BLACK & WHITE

Stripping away color reveals the raw architecture of the natural world, shifting the focus to texture, contrast, and the timeless geometry of the landscape. In this collection, the vibrant reds of the desert and the deep blues of the alpine peaks are translated into a sophisticated language of light and shadow. Without the distraction of hue, the rhythmic patterns of Death Valley’s dunes and the jagged silhouettes of the high sierra become more pronounced. These images are an exploration of the "bones" of the earth—a study of how light carves shape out of darkness and how a single silver highlight can define the immense scale of the wilderness.
