This featured collection is a deep dive into the desert—a landscape defined by its vast, sweeping vistas and the ethereal, ever-changing light that dances across the dunes and salt flats. The majority of these images were captured in Death Valley, a place I have intimately explored and photographed for over thirty years. This long-term connection allows me to look past the harshness of the terrain to find the quiet, transient moments where the shifting sun transforms the earth into a canvas of shadow, light and color.
