ALPINE

High-altitude photography requires a unique patience for the elements, and this collection celebrates the raw, dramatic beauty of the alpine world. These images capture the high peaks not just in their stillness, but in their most powerful moments—when brewing storms sweep across the range and the air feels electric with change. There is a particular magic found at the edges of the day, during those fleeting windows of sunrise and sunset when the granite faces are set ablaze by the "alpenglow". For me, these photographs represent the rewards of the climb: the intersection of mountain solitude, the intensity of the weather, and the ethereal light that only exists at the roof of the world.
